Over the past extraordinary 18 months, the need to safeguard staff and customers from coronavirus has been paramount.

But, at the same time, the need to think creatively to make products and services available in new ways has pushed leaders to seek technological solutions. Technology adoption has accelerated to such an extent that some analysts believe seven years’ progress has been made since the second quarter of 2020.

Click this link to our online entry form. There are five short questions to answer, and the judges will take the answers into consideration when making their choices.

The Financial Times, in conjunction with Workday, wants to identify those European companies and organisations that have best used technology to pivot their businesses to new ways of working.

We are inviting companies, their employees and other stakeholders to nominate companies and organisations that have made an outstanding use of technology in the face of the pandemic.

A panel of judges will then select the best examples from different sectors and name them “Tech Champions of 2021”. We invite entries from the following sectors:

Those companies and organisations selected as “Tech Champions of 2021” will be showcased online and in a magazine in November, with stories of their innovation, perseverance and technical ingenuity.
